Ghirelli sets pace in second practice for Auto GP in Monza

Italian Vittorio Ghirelli set the stage for the Auto GP season opener at Monza, topping practice two for Super Nova.

Japanese teammates Kimiya Sato and Yoshitaka Kuroda took second and third respectively, ahead of Robert Visoiu, who was quickest earlier in the morning.

Narain Karthikeyan improved from his earlier result to fifth, narrowly edging out Antonio Spavone. Riccardo Agostini was exactly a second behind Ghirelli in seventh, with Andrea Roda in eighth.

MP’s Meindert van Buuren and Zele’s Luciano Bacheta completed the top ten.

The qualifying will begin at 15:15 GMT.
