GB4 has released a provisional calendar for its 2026 season, in addition to plans for a new winter series event.

Next year there will be a seven-round, 21-race schedule for the Britain-based championship and repeat visits to tracks.

Silverstone will host the season opener on April 26/27, with the full Grand Prix layout being used. Round two is at Oulton Park on the May 23-25 bank holiday weekend, then Donington Park’s full GP layout is visited on June 27/28.

In the second half of the year, GB4 will return to Silverstone’s GP layout (August 1/2), head to Snetterton (August 15/16), use Donington Park’s GP layout for a second time (September 6) and then conclude the season on September 26/27 with a round on Brands Hatch’s GP layout.

The new winter series will take place at Snetterton on October 24/25, and plans on attracting drivers considering competing in GB4’s main championship in 2027.

GB4 says “each day of the event will feature a single qualifying session and two races, with each day also running under a different permit, allowing teams to trial multiple drivers in each car across the event should they wish”.

The now defunct Formula Renault UK and FR BARC had winter series, and the GB4-owning MotorSport Vision company previously ran a single-seater winter series.

It was initially a multi-event accompaniement to the BRDC Formula 4 championship in 2014 and ’15, then became a one-off autumn trophy alongside the BRDC British Formula 3 championship in 2016.
