Evans GP’s Cooper Webster beat points leader Tom Mills to score his first two GB4 poles in qualifying at Snetterton.

The Red Bull Esports driver lapped 0.386 seconds faster than Mills in the 15-minute session, with his second-best laptime securing him another pole for race two ahead of Fortec Motorsports’ Colin Queen.

Webster posted an early benchmark of 1m46.935s before improving by a further 0.4s. Mills soon snatched the advantage by 0.088s and then lapped even faster with a 1m46.261s.

But Mills was denied late on by two late fliers from Webster, who ended with a 1m45.875s. Queen was 0.041s behind Mills in third, but will start ahead of the Kevin Mills Racing driver in race two. Mills’ team-mate Lucas Blakeley qualified fourth on his GB4 debut, and the reigning F1 Esports champion will start from fifth in race two.

Harry Burgoyne Jr enjoyed his strongest qualifying so far to secure fifth and fourth on the grid for races one and two. Fox Motorsport’s Liam McNeilly was sixth quickest overall ahead of Fortec driver Ruhaan Alva and Graham Brunton Racing’s new recruit Jeremy Fairbairn.
