Christian Bogle has committed to a fourth season in Indy Nxt with HMD Motorsports.

The 22-year-old has come 11th in the championship for the last three years, with a best finish of seventh in his rookie season with Carlin and then fourth places in Detroit last year and at Portland this season being his best results since joining HMD’s line-up. This year he also matched his best starting position of seventh place, which he achieved at Iowa Speedway.

Bogle has tasted some success though, having come fourth in the 2023 Asian Le Mans Series after winning the 4 Hours of Dubai. The only two wins (and podiums) of his single-seater career came in United States Formula 4 back in 2019.

“I’m excited to be returning to the Indy Nxt series with HMD Motorsports in 2024,” said Bogle.

“With still many years of experience less than my competition, I will continue my development and improvement to try and close the gap to my rivals. Finishing 11th in the 2023 title chase, we have reset goals for the upcoming 2024 season and will get to work during our first test later this month.”

Bogle is HMD’s third signing for 2024. He will be team-mate to Reece Gold, who won a race as a rookie this year, and reigning USF Pro 2000 champion Myles Rowe.

“We are happy to have Christian back on the roster for the 2024 season,” HMD’s general manager Mike Maurini said.

“We will push Christian hard in 2024 with a different engineering effort and focused coaching program. He is doing big things for his lack of experience compared to those around him. We will work to reset goals for 2024 and achieve them.”
