A BRDC F4 Winter Series will take place in November, championship organisers MotorSportVision have announced.

The competition will consist of eight races over two weekends. The first will take place at Snetterton on 9-10 November and the second at Brands Hatch two weeks later on 23-24 November.

Each of the four days will feature a 20-minute qualifying session and two 20-minute races, while competitors will have the opportunity to test on the Thursday and Friday before each event.

The first season of BRDC F4 kicked off at Silverstone last weekend, with three different winners from the three races.

“It is clear that BRDC F4 championship’s first full season is going to be a great success so the teams are keen to have a winter series both for current drivers continuing in 2014 and in order to evaluate new drivers,” said series chief Jonathan Palmer.

?We have consulted with the teams regarding the format and are delighted with the resulting comprehensive package that will provide exceptional track time and value for drivers.”
