The ART Junior Team, formerly known as R-ace GP, has revealed the names of three drivers it will enter into the Formula Renault 2.0 NEC this season.
The 20-year-old Frenchman Andrea Pizzitola starts his second season with the team. Last year he ended the season in the 13th place with four podiums and one fastest lap. Pizzitola is not expected to take part in all rounds, since he will also race in the Eurocup Championship.
Alongside Pizzitola two new members joined the team. Tanart Sathienthirakul from Thailand is also preparing for his second season of the series. Despite being 20, its only his second season in single-seater racing, however, he has raced in Formula Renault NEC and Toyota Racing Series already and switches to ART from Manor MP.
The third driver is another Frenchman, Nicolas Jamin. Jamin will graduate from French F4, where last year he finished seventh with four podiums in the last six races.
ART Junior Team had already announced their lineup for Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup, where Pizzitola, the Lotus-backed Esteban Ocon, and the French F4 champion Alex Baron will compete.
