Spanish Formula 4 champion and Formula Renault Eurocup racer Amaury Cordeel will race for Kiwi Motorsport in next year’s Toyota Racing Series.

The Belgian raced for MP Motorsport in the Eurocup this year, taking one top five finish on the way to 15th in the standings.

In addition to his Spanish title, Cordeel won in the Northern European Zone and United Arab Emirates F4 championships, and raced in the Asian Formula 3 Winter Series at the start of 2019.

“My goal is to prepare myself as good as possible for the next season in Europe,? said the 17-year-old.

?I would like to improve step by step and of course I want to compete for the title.? I think the Toyota Racing Series is a very nice championship and I will give the best of myself.”

Kiwi Motorsport, previously known as Victory Motor Racing when racing in New Zealand, won the 2017 TRS title with Thomas Randle. It also races in United States F4 in league with Crosslink Racing, and has already wrapped up the 2019 title with Joshua Car.

Cordeel will partner fellow Spanish F4 graduate Axel Gnos at the team, while M2 Competition has already signed Euroformula Open racer Rui Andrade and MTEC Motorsport by R-ace GP has BRDC British F3 race-winner Lucas Petersson starting its line-up.

R-ace GP and M2 both race in the Eurocup, and it is heavily rumoured that Dutch team MP will join them on the TRS grid either in partnership with an existing team or as a independent effort.
