There will be a further new team on the GB4 grid next year, with ADM signing Formula Ford 1600 race-winner Jason Pribyl as part of a planned two-car entry.
Pribyl was runner-up in United Formula Ford this year after winning on his debut at Silverstone and adding a further triumph at Lydden Hill. Prior to that the American came second in the SCCA’s Northern Conference for third-generation Spec Racer Ford prototype sportscars in his homeland in 2023 and was one of the losing finalists for the Team USA Scholarship that year.
ADM is run by former Arden team manager Gary Ward, who was a British Formula 3 National class race winner in the 1980s. The team has experience running classic Formula 3 and FF1600 machinery.
“I’ve been fighting for this opportunity for the better part of three years now,” said Pribyl. “I know I have what it takes to be a champion and I know it is possible with Gary and his team. I’m really looking forward to a first full season of slicks and wings racing in the UK, and I can’t wait to drive the new GB4 car when we start testing in the new year.”
“It’s a fantastic new challenge for us at ADM to join the GB4 Championship for 2025,” Ward commented. “The arrival of the new car means this is going to be a very competitive series.
“We are extremely excited to be working with Jason in 2025. After working with Jason in 2024 and seeing his commitment in FF1600, having arrived from America and learning the UK circuits, we believe that he will be a strong contender in the title chase.”
Race-winning GB3 outfit Douglas Motorsport recently announced Luke Hilton as its first driver for its maiden GB4 assault. Hilton spent two years in the Fiesta Junior championship, scoring multiple wins and coming sixth in the standings in both 2022 and 2023, and finished runner-up in Radical Cup UK this year.
“I cannot wait to get going in 2025,” said Hilton. “Making my single-seater debut and taking that next step in my career is incredibly exciting and an opportunity for which I am very grateful. Teaming up with the fantastic team at Douglas Motorsport means I will have a brilliant team and expertise behind me every step of the way.
“We have enjoyed working together so far and I am confident I have the best people around me as I take on my debut season in single-seaters. I would also like to express my thanks for the support of everyone involved, particularly from my family and MBP as we take this next step on the journey together. Bring on 2025!”
Hillspeed also recently revealed it is making a return to the championship next season, having been front-runner during GB4’s inaugural season in 2022 when it guided Megan Gilkes to two victories and Max Marzorati to third in the standings. Its sole focus since then has been on GB3, though it did provide engineering support to privateer Marcus Luzio during three GB4 rounds in 2024.
