Noam Abramczyk will make his single-seater racing debut with Drivex School in Spanish Formula 4 next year, after testing F4 machinery this year.
The Franco-Israeli took part in two of Italian F4’s official in-season tests in 2020, driving for the BVM Technorace alliance in both, and even participated in free practice sessions at Imola. He then joined Drivex for post-season testing.
Last year he raced mostly in junior karting and starred in France, before making the switch into shifter karts in the KZ2 class.
“I’m happy to announce I will drive with Drivex School in the Spanish F4 championship for next year,” announced Abaramczyk.
Another driver who will be debuting in Spanish F4 is Daniel Macia. The Spaniard also raced in shifter karts this year, despite landing a seat at the Valencia Ricardo Tormo-based Praga F4 team in a shootout.
He chose to delay his single-seater graduation by a year to focus on his karting commitments, which resulted in being title runner-up in the Spanish championship for KZ class karts.
Although his place on the 2021 grid was already guaranteed, Macia contested Praga F4’s shootout for a second year in a row – and won it – and will be joined at the team next year by Quique Bordas.
In last year’s shootout Bordas came in third place, meaning he missed out on a seat. Macia’s decision to delay his entry meant Bordas was then called up though, and he came eighth in the points with one podium in his rookie season.
Clarissa Dervic and Dani Briz are the Spanish talents who will get called up to race if circumstances dictate either Macia or Bordas cannot.
Expected to join the French F4 grid next year is Angelina Favario, who has raced in the Andros Trophy, while Ryan Shehan and Jake Bonilla have been confirmed as racing in United States F4 in 2021.
Karting graduate Shehan will race for Team Crosslink, which has run in alliance with Kiwi Motorsport for the past three seasons but now appears to be operating independently in the championship, while Bonilla stays on for a second season at Jensen Global Advisors after coming 19th in the points as a rookie.
