Conor Daly and Pal Varhaug complete the grid for the opening round of the 2013 GP2 Series in Malaysia this weekend after being confirmed for new team Hilmer Motorsport.

American driver Daly makes his GP2 debut after spending the last two years in GP3, finishing sixth in the 2012 standings. He tested with Hilmer at the second pre-season test at Barcelona.

Norwegian Varhaug returns to GP2 after a point-less campaign in 2011 with DAMS. He spent last year in Auto GP, taking the runner-up spot. He ran with Hilmer at both tests at Jerez and Barcelona.

Based in Germany, Hilmer Motorsport replaces Ocean Racing Technology in the GP2 field and is one of three new teams for 2013, joining Russian Time and MP Motorsport.
