The Scuderia Ferrari Driver Academy has announced the names and programmes of its 2027 drivers, including new members Salim Hanna, Alp Aksoy and karter Daniel Miron. At the same time, Campos Racing confirmed that the Colombian will join the team for the step up to FIA Formula 3.

Hanna, a protege of countryman Juan Pablo Montoya, moves up from Formula Regional Europe where he finished seventh in the standings, claiming a reverse-grid victory at Imola.

He has spent most of his career to-date in Formula 4 and FREC with Prema, although he made an impressive cameo appearance in British F4 in 2025, with three wins from five starts including a double victory at the non-championship round supporting the British GP. Alongside his FREC campaign this year, Hanna had two outings in FIA F3 with AIX Racing.

Hanna said of his move to Campos: “I’m very happy and grateful to be part of this incredible team and family. From day one, I’ve felt so comfortable and welcomed, and I’m really looking forward to learn and improve day by day. I know we have a strong team, and I hope we can fight at the front and achieve great things together next year!”

Hanna will be joined in FIA F3 by Niccolo Maccagnani, who has risen rapidly up the ladder since making his F4 debut at the end of 2025. He won two races in the Italian series this year before leaping into the vacant Rodin Motorsport seat for the season finale in Madrid. The identity of Maccagani’s team has not yet been revealed.

The second new recruit to the Ferrari programme is Turkish F4 racer Alp Aksoy, who will graduate to FREC for 2027. Aksoy has impressed in his debut season in single-seaters, claiming two wins in the Italian F4 series at Misano as well as one win at Paul Ricard in E4. He currently lies second in the Italian championship with one round remaining, the best-placed Prema driver.

Although again the identity of his FREC team has not yet been announced, he has tested with Prema in the FREC post-season tests and is expected to join the team for 2027.

The third new recruit, and youngest member of the SFDA, is 13-year-old Spanish-Dutch karter Daniel Morin, who will move up to the OK class after a stellar season in OK-Juniors, including finishing second in the FIA European Championship.

Two of Ferrari’s 2026 roster, karters Filippo Sala and Noah Baglin, will move up to single-seaters for 2027; however, unlike their predecessors who made their debuts in the Italian F4 championship, the two youngsters will race in the Spanish F4 series, Ferrari has confirmed.

Baglin has had an outstanding season in OK karts, winning the FIA European Championship and the Champions of the Future to go with his 2025 OK-J World Champion title. Sala has already had his first taste of F4, making an impressive debut in the final round of the E4 championship at Monza.

As already announced, Tuukka Taponen will move up to Formula 2 with ART Grand Prix after finishing third in this year’s F3 championship for MP Motorsport.

The final member of the SFDA, and the only one not moving up to a higher category, is F1 Academy driver Alba Larsen. Having joined the Ferrari programme at the start of 2026, she has continued to improve her results throughout 2026, her second season in F1A, taking her first two podiums at Zandvoort.

While participation in F1A is normally limited to two years, the Dane has been permitted to continue for a third season following a rule change announced last year to grant an exemption for drivers “whose performance indicates strong potential for continued growth.”

Rafael Camara and Dino Beganovic will leave the SFDA as the Brazilian graduates to Formula 1 with Haas while Beganovic will become the Ferrari F1 development and reserve driver, sharing reserve duties with Antonio Giovinazzi.
