Race Performance Motorsport has signed Jan Przyrowski for a double Formula Regional programme next year.

The Polish driver joined the team two months ago for the FRegional European Championship season finale at Monza, and finished fifth in his second race. He will be in FREC and FRegional Middle East full-time in 2026.

“I’m very happy to confirm my plans to compete in the FREC and FRME with the R-P-M team, which already gave me the opportunity to test my skills in Monza this year,” said Przyrowski.

“We went very well then and we worked well together. I think we can achieve a lot together in the 2026 season, and with the brand new Tatuus T-326 car, we have a good chance of good results. I’m hungry to regularly fight for podiums and victories, and I know I can do it.”

Przyrowski steps up the single-seater ladder after two years in Formula 4 with Campos Racing. He debuted in the 2024 Formula Winter Series, then was 10th in Spanish F4 with two podiums.

This year he was Spanish F4 Winter Championship runner-up, thanks to a run of four wins and two poles, then in the main championship was third in the standings with three victories, seven other podiums and seven poles.

The 17-year-old’s career has been sponsored by Polish petroleum company Orlen, which has also been financing several other Poles in junior single-seaters. But it is not maintaining its level of investment in 2026.

Kacper Sztuka is 19 and was 2023 FWinter Series and Italian F4 champion. That earned him Red Bull Junior Team membership and a leap up to the FIA Formula 3 Championship for 2024.

He scored once, lost Red Bull’s backing, and Orlen stepped up to be primary sponsor for 2025 as Sztuka stepped down to Eurocup-3. In the winter series he was 11th, then in the main championship he took two wins, five other podiums and was third in the standings.

Despite his success, Orlen decided to not continue its support for 2026 and Sztuka revealed its decision before Eurocup-3’s season finale.

Fellow 19-year-old Tymek Kucharczyk started his single-seater career in Spanish F4 back in 2022 after earning a seat by winning the Richard Mille Young Talent Academy shootout. Orlen also sponsored him, and he came third in the standings.

Kucharczyk then stepped up to GB3, and Orlen became his primary backer. As a sophomore, he was third in the championship with four victories and seven other podiums.

Euroformula came next for Kucharczyk, and Polish car insurance firm Mubi was his biggest partner during his title-winning 2025 campaign featuring six victories and eight other podiums. Mubi wanted Kucharczyk to graduate to Formula 2 for 2026, and helped fund private testing, while Orlen was not willing commit to the increased budget needed.

Kucharczyk then pursued various Polish brands for smaller inputs to raise the funds he needed, but despite there being one vacancy left on F2’s grid he has ruled himself out on budget grounds.
