Noah Lisle took his third British Formula 4 victory of the season in the reversed-grid race at Silverstone.

Lisle came through to take the lead late in the race and quickly broke the tow to Deagdn Fairclough behind. He led by 0.576 seconds as he took the chequered flag.

Jack Sherwood took the lead on the opening lap. Pole-sitter Isaac Barashi stalled on the gird, and Sherwood was able to pass Kai Daryanani before the field crossed the line for the first time.

He had Sonny Smith for company, with the JHR Developments driver close behind Sherwood but unable to find a way through. As the pair battled, Lisle led a train of drivers onto their tail, briefly making it a five car fight for the lead.

Sherwood began to pull away from the battle, only to suddenly slow to a halt on track. He was able to get going again, only to get halfway round to the pits and pull off again. The incident was covered with waved yellows, allowing racing to resume.

It was now a fourway fight for the lead. Lisle managed to get alongside Smith at Copse and pull ahead to take the race lead. Smith dropped further back behind Fairclough and Louis Sharp, but held onto fourth ahead of Gustav Jonsson.

Once ahead, Lisle began to break away from the rest of the field, leaving Fairclough and Sharp to battle and crossing the line with a comfortable gap to second place.

Fairclough took second ahead of Sharp and Jonsson. Smith had put up a good defence but span on the final lap before coming to a stop.

William Macintyre took fifth ahead of Douwe Dedecker and Dion Gowda.

Patrick Heuzenroeder was the last driver to finish within the points in eighth, while Aqil Alibhai and James Piszcyk rounded out the top 10.
