Virtuosi Racing has signed Yuhao Fu and Martin Molnar for the 2024 British Formula 4 season.
Both have been testing with the team since last October, and Fu went on to do two F4 South East Asia rounds with Pinnacle Motorsport before the end of the year and had a sixth place as his best result.
The 15-year-old Chinese racer then remained with that team for the 2024 F4 United Arab Emirates season, and 19th was his best result.
“I am very happy to be joining such a good team as Virtuosi Racing. I hope to perform well with the team and get a good result in the new British F4 season,” said Fu.
Molnar won the South Garda Winter Cup and was WSK Champions Cup runner-up on OK karts last year and was a finalist in the Richard Mille Young Talent Academy shootout.
In 2022 the Hungarian was Trofeo delle Industrie runner-up, eighth in the CIK-FIA World championship and 21st in the European championship for OK Junior karts.
“Last August, I had the opportunity to attend a race weekend at Donington Park, and I immediately fell in love with the championship,” revealed the 15-year-old.
“I’m really looking forward to showing what we’re capable of with Virtuosi. A new era is beginning in my career, which could not have happened without my parents and our partners.”
Molnar is coached by Tamas Pal Kiss, a fellow Hungarian who starred in European Rallycross and in junior single-seaters won races in Auto GP, GP3 and Formula Renault UK.
