Suleiman Zanfari will remain at Campos Racing for his second year in Eurocup-3.

The Moroccan came 10th in the standings in the inaugural season of the Formula Regional-based championship, making the podium in the first ever race but then only picking up one further top-five finish after that.

It was a similar story in Spanish Formula 4, where Zanfari spent three seasons. In his third campaign he claimed his maiden podium finish in the opening round but then only had two more top-five finishes before illness meant he had to miss the last two rounds of the season. Despite that, he was still able to come seventh in the standings.

“I’m very happy to join Campos Racing for a new season in Eurocup-3 in 2024,” said Zanfari. “It was a steep learning curve last year and I’m very confident that we together can challenge for the championship this season.”

Last year Zanfari also made his first steps into prototype sportscar racing, and contested the first ever Saudi Arabian F4 event in December. He took a win and a pole from that event, which was actually held in Bahrain.

Campos’s team principal Adrian Campos Jr added: “We are delighted to continue working with Suleiman in the Eurocup-3 as we already claimed excellent success together in the series. Suleiman completed a strong debut season, making his return to racing from illness in which was a proper achievement itself, and stepped onto the overall podium at Spa-Francorchamps and later took vice-championship honors in the rookies’ classification. With more experience under his belt, I feel confident his goals will be still more ambitious in 2024.”
