Hitech GP has completed its 2025 GB3 line-up with the signing of Spanish Formula 4 runner-up Keanu Al Azhari.

The 17-year-old has spent two years racing in the F4 category, having made his debut in the 2022 F4 United Arab Emirates Trophy as a Yas Heat Academy driver.

He contested the full F4 UAE championship with the team in both 2023 and 2024, taking two podiums and finishing seventh overall in his first year and coming third with two wins and five other podiums in his sophomore campaign.

Al Azhari also joined MP Motorsport this year and took one win and seventh in the points in Formula Winter Series, and recorded four wins and nine other podiums en route to second in the standings in Spanish F4.

“I’m excited to be making the step up to GB3 with Hitech for the 2025 season,” said Al Azhari. “2024 has been a fantastic year for me with the results in the Spanish and UAE F4 Championships. After two years in F4 I now feel ready for this next chapter in my single-seater career and I look forward to working with the team to help them enjoy another successful season in the series.”

The Emirati driver will be partnered at Hitech by both reigning British Formula 4 champion Deagen Fairclough and USF Pro 2000 runner-up Nikita Johson.

“We’re delighted to welcome Keanu to Hitech’s next GB3 campaign, “said Hitech’s team manager Phil Blow. “We have kept a close eye on him in Formula 4 this season and alongside Deagen Fairclough and Nikita Johnson we feel we will have another strong line-up with which to fight for both titles in 2025.”
