French team Sainteloc Racing has already signed three drivers for the 2024 Spanish Formula 4 season.

The outfit, best known for its sportscar and off-road motorsport exploits, expanded into single-seaters last year and in its second season won the Spanish F4 title with Theophile Nael [pictured above].

The first of its 2024 trio of drivers to be announced (with more signings potentilly to come) was Matteo Quintarelli, a United Arab Emirates-based Italian who debuted in car racing late last year in the F4 UAE Trophy with a ninth place finish.

He then won a shootout to race for Yas Heat Academy in the 2023 F4 UAE season, but his best result was only a 16th place. Following that he joined R-ace GP in Italian F4, coming 31st in the standings with two 13th places being his best finishes.

Stepping up from karting to race for Sainteloc next year is Yevan David. The 16-year-old Sri Lankan came fourth in the 2020 IAME Asia Cup for X30 Junior karts, sixth in the 2021 FIA Karting Academy Trophy, won the silver medal in the FIA Motorsport Games’ Karting Sprint Senior competition and this year transitioned to shifter karting where he came eighth in the WSK Champions Cup and 19th in the FIA World Cup for KZ2 karts.

The team’s third signing is Maxi Restrepo, who was karting in Colombia before he joined Drivex School for a double F4 programme this year. He came 17th in a part-time Formula Winter Series campaign, with a best finish of eighth, then was 37th in Spanish F4 where he finished no higher than 21st over a campaign of 20 races.
