Red Bull junior Enzo Tarnvanichkul will graduate from karting to single-seater racing this year with Campos Racing in the Spanish Formula 4 championship.
The 14-year-old Thai won the CIK-FIA World championship for OK-Junior karts, was second in the WSK Final Cup, fifth in the CIK-FIA European championship and 15th in the WSK Open Cup in 2022.
Last year he stepped up to senior karting with Prema, and came fourth in the Champions of the Future series and the CIK-FIA World championship for OK karts, as well as coming ninth in the CIK-FIA European championship, 16th in the WSK Euro Series and 17th in the WSK Super Master Series.
“I am very happy to join Campos Racing. My goal for this year is to win the Spanish F4 championship,” Tarnvanichkhul boldly stated.
“It won’t be easy, there are many very good rivals with whom I have competed before and I am aware that I have a difficult year ahead. However, I am in the best place to achieve it.”
Campos’s team principal Adrian Campos Jr commented: “It is incredible to be able to add a driver of his talent to our structure to compete in the 2024 F4 Spain season. Enzo has proven to be one of the highest level karting drivers in recent years and now it is time for him to make the jump to single-seaters. We will support and help you in every way possible to make this transition as effective and simple as possible.
“It promises to be another exciting and hard-fought season into the tenth, but we have every confidence that Enzo will be able to place himself among the best from the start.”
