Elite Motorsport’s Alisha Palmowski recovered from a slow start to win the second GB4 contest at Snetterton.

KMR Sport’s Harry Burgoyne climbed from third on the grid to lead Fortec Motorsport’s Linus Granfors as both Palmowski and race one victor Lucas Blakeley were slow away from the front row.

Granfors ran wide at Wilsons hairpin after tagging the rear of Burgoyne’s car and slipped to fourth, with Palmowksi resisting a challenge from Blakeley to hold second.

Palmowski closed to within 0.5 seconds of Burgoyne at the end of lap one, and Blakeley made it a three-car lead train two laps later.

The battle intensified at the start of lap five, with Palmowski jinking to the outside of Burgyone into Riches, and the pair made slight contact a few corners later.

Palmowski repeated her move into turn one on the next tour but again could not find a way by, and the squabble allowed Granfors and Elite’s Finn Harrison to close in on the lead trio.

A mistake from Burgoyne two laps later gave Palmowski an opportunity to pounce into Agostini and snatch the lead, and she pulled away in the closing stages to win by 1.7s.

Burgoyne fended off his team-mate Blakeley late on to finish second, with Granfors and Harrison coming home close behind. Arden’s Leon Wilson took sixth ahead of Fox Motorsport’s Branden Templeton and KMR’s Chloe Grant.

Callum Baxter stalled on the grid before climbing up to seventh ahead of Templeton, but a late spin dropped the Graham Brunton Racing driver to 11th
