Myles Rowe will stay in Indy Nxt for a third season in 2026, and will remain with the Abel Motorsports team he joined this year.

The 25-year-old’s entry will also continue to be supported by the African American-led Force Indy team that he has been closely associated with throughout his junior single-seater career.

Rowe came fourth in Indy Nxt this year, claiming two victories and four other podiums. It was a major improvement on 2024 when he drove for HMD Motorsports and he came 11th in the standings with two top-five finishes.

“It’s a huge privilege to be extending the partnership with Abel Motorsports,” said Rowe.

“Their support and dedication is exactly what a driver looks for in a team and I couldn’t be more pleased to continue our strides to contest for the 2026 Indy Nxt championship.”

He added: “Our performance has seen encouraging progression over the 2025 season and the ability to continue to work on what we have developed together is something I am very eager to pursue and grateful to have.”

Abel team owner Bill Abel said he was “really excited to have Myles back with us for 2026” and set targets for next season:

“It’s been fantastic to watch his progression throughout his career as a driver and it was super satisfying to see him win this year, and we’re looking for more of that in 2026.”

Rowe first drove for Force Indy in 2021, when he came 13th in USF2000 with one win, then switched to Pabst Racing for 2022 and was championship runner-up with five victories.

Those two teams collaborated to run him in USF Pro 2000 in 2023, and Rowe won five times en route to the title.

“We’ve come a long way in being more competitive this year. The plan is to capitalize on what we’ve learned,” said Rod Reid, Force Indy’s founder and co-owner.
