Kevin Mills Racing’s Tom Mills dominated a wet GB4 qualifying to take a double pole on Silverstone’s grand prix layout.
The GB4 points leader held top spot throughout the 15-minute session, recording a 2m28.539s on his first timed effort, then improving on each of his next four laps to end with a 2m23.635s before a spin for privateer Dylan Hotchin ended proceedings prematurely.
Fortec Motorsport’s Colin Queen was on a better lap when the red flags were shown but still took second for both races one and two behind Mills.
Evans GP’s Cooper Webster beat KMR’s Jeremy Fairbairn to third for race one on his final lap before the stoppage, with the pair also sharing the second row for race two but with Fairbairn ahead.
Fox Motorsport’s Liam McNeilly was fifth ahead of Elite Motorsport’s Harri Reynolds and KMR’s Jack Clifford. Jason Conzo was eighth for Oldfield Motorsport, with Fox’s Sid Smith and Fortec’s Aditya Kulkarni completing the top 10.
