Joey Brienza will step up to USF Pro 2000 next year with Exclusive Autosport, after starring in USF2000 with the team.

The 20-year-old will be embarking on his fifth year in Exclusive’s line-up, having first raced for them in the 2021 F1600 Championship Series season. He came fourth in the standings, and fifth the year after.

Brienza switched to slicks-and-wings cars in 2022, doing three USF2000 races and finishing 10th in the third of those. That increased to five races in 2023, with 10th his best result again, then this year did a full campaign and topped the rookie classification by coming fifth in the standings with four podiums and a pole.

He doubled up in USF Juniors in 2023, which had a productive output of a win, two second places and three poles from the first three races but with only three further podiums slipped down to fifth in the points table.

“I’m so excited to announce that I am signing with Exclusive Autosport for the 2025 USF Pro 2000 series to continue moving up the ladder towards my goal of IndyCar,” enthused Brienza.

“I want to extend a massive thank you to EA. They are family to me, and I am unbelievably grateful for all their support and faith in me. I also want to extend a huge thank you to my family for all their continued support in my career as well. I could not be more excited for this upcoming year, bring on 2025.”

Exclusive’s co-owner Michael Duncalfe added: “I am thrilled to continue to have the opportunity to work with Joey for the 2025 season. Joey has been with Exclusive Autosport for a number of years and it is truly an honour to be a part of his racing career. He is a very hardworking young man and to see his progression in open-wheel cars has been amazing.”
