GB3 has announced its provisional 2025 calendar, with Monza added to the schedule for the first time as the series expands its international presence.

Half of the eight rounds will take place at overseas venues, with Zandvoort, Spa-Francorchamps and Hungaroring retaining their places on the calendar while Monza, home of Formula 1’s Italian Grand Prix, will host the season finale.

The championship opener will take place one month later than usual on Silverstone’s Grand Prix layout, the first of two visits during the year to the Northamptonshire venue. Brands Hatch and Donington Park are the other two British circuits to retain their spots on the calendar, while Oulton Park has been dropped.

It means all-but two rounds will take place on current F1 circuits in 2025, when the series will debut its new Tatuus MSV GB3-025 car which is expected to be significantly faster than its current model and closer in performance to an FIA Formula 3 car.

Sister series GB4 has also announced a seven-round calendar for 2025, which will kick off at Donington Park at the beginning of April before joining GB3 at Silverstone later that month. It will race alongside GB3 three more times across the campaign in addition to further standalone rounds at Oulton Park and Snetterton, and its season will conclude at Donington Park in early October.

GB4 will also be debuting a new MSV GB4-025 car in 2025, using a modified version of the current GB3 chassis, and the first of the new machines run by Douglas Motorsport has already completed several shakedown runs at Bedford Autodrome and Silverstone.
