French Formula 4’s organiser FFSA Academy has published a 26-car entry list and calendar for the 2024 season.

This year the championship will get underway, as has been tradition since 2017, at Nogaro on March 30-April 1. Ledenon hosts round two on May 10-12, with the first international event at Spa-Francorchamps on June 21-23.

The second international round has been rotated around various European circuits over the years, and for 2024 it will take place at the Nurburgring on July 26-28.

Magny-Cours hosts round five on August 23-25, then the cancellation of the Pau Grand Prix means Dijon appears on the calendar for only the second time (having been visited in 2018) as round six on September 13-15. The season concludes on October 4-6 at French Grand Prix venue Paul Ricard.

There are nine returning drivers from last season, with the highest placed of those being Belgian racer Yani Stevenheydens. He came seventh in the standings with two reversed-grid wins and three other podiums.

The next best returnee is Leonardo Megna. The Italian made the podium once en route to 12th in the standings.

Although he only raced in the final round of 2023 due to not being old enough to race until then, Arthur Dorison drove in practice and testing at several rounds last season.

Other noticable names moving into single-seater racing are Dylan Estre, who is the younger brother of factory Porsche driver Kevin, IAME Asia Finals winner Rayan Caretti and French Karting champion and FEED Racing France shootout winner Augustin Bernier.
