Fortec Motorsports and Hillspeed both now have two drivers signed for the 2026 GB3 season after recent additions.
Alex Kattoulas and Jack Taylor have been announced as racing for Fortec, with the former returning to the team’s line-up.
In 2024, Kattoulas made his single-seater debut with Fortec for GB3’s round at Donington Park. He had a best finish of 17th, then made what was effectively a sideways move for 2025 by racing in GB4. It had adopting a modified version of the car being retired by GB3, which was introducing a new chassis last year.
The Japanese-Greek racer drove for Elite Motorsport, and took a win, four other podiums and two poles en route to fourth in the standings. All of his podiums came in the season’s first eight races, with only a few top-five finishes in the following four rounds.
“I’m very excited to return to Fortec for a full GB3 season,” said Kattoulas. “GB4 helped me build consistency and race-winning confidence, and the focus now is on putting everything together across the entire campaign. The calendar is incredibly strong, and my target is to be fighting consistently at the front from the start.”
Taylor came eighth in Indian Formula 4 back in 2023 then has raced for Fortec in GB4 the past two years. He came ninth as a rookie in 2024, making the podium once, and was 10th in the 2025 standings with two victories from pole at Silverstone, and two podiums from other rounds.
The 17-year-old Australian began 2026 by competing in Formula Regional Oceania, where he was 14th in the points table with a pole but a best race result of fourth.
“We’ve worked well together and I’ve made a lot of progress thanks to the team’s support, so I know [Fortec] are the right place for me as I step up to GB3,” said Taylor. “I’ve had a strong winter racing in New Zealand and I’m looking forward to lining up on the grid at Silverstone in April.”
Hillspeed has signed Aurelia Nobels, who has spent three years racing in F4 as a Ferrari Driver Academy member. The 18-year-old Brazilian now moves on from F4 and the FDA.
During her time in F4, she came 16th in Brazilian F4 and 18th in Danish F4 as a part-timer, and failed to score in British F4, E4, Italian F4, Spanish F4 and its winter championship, and UAE4.
She did make the podium in a 2024 Saudi Arabian F4 cameo, and and took another during her two full seasons in the all-female F1 Academy championship.
“I’m really happy to be joining Hillspeed for my first season in GB3 and I’m grateful to the team for the trust they’ve placed in me,” said the 19-year-old
“It’s a big step forward in my career and I’m excited to be moving up to one of the most competitive categories to transition to F3 and work with such an experienced and successful team.”
