Eurocup-3 runner-up Christian Ho will step up to FIA Formula 3 this year with DAMS, completing the French team’s line-up.

Ho debuted in single-seaters with MP Motorsport in 2022, racing part-time in Formula 4 United Arab Emirates then coming 13th in Spanish F4 with the team. Two fourth places at the end of the season were his best results.

For his sophomore campaign in Spanish F4 he switched to Campos Racing, and claimed five wins, eight other podiums and seven poles en route to being championship runner-up. He remained with the team for the step up to Eurocup-3 last year, and came two points short of the title as he won five races and started on pole six times.

“I’m proud to be the first F3 driver from Singapore, it feels amazing to join DAMS and I’m raring to go,” said the 18-year-old.

“I’ve had a strong season Eurocup-3, and I’m aiming to carry this form into 2025. My target is to be competitive in the championship, which is one of the toughest in the world, so I’ll work with the team to deliver the best possible results.”

Ho will be team-mate to Niko Lacorte and Matias Zagazeta, as DAMS returns to Formula 1’s third-tier support series for the first time since 2017 when it racing in GP3.

“We’re delighted to have signed Christian, his pace during the test days was impressive and he has a great racing CV,” DAMS’ owner Charles Pic commented.

“It’s amazing for him to be the first driver from his nation to compete in F3. We’re pleased to now have our 2025 line-up confirmed and we’ll continue working hard to be in good shape when we arrive in Melbourne.””
