The Formula Regional-based Eurocup-3 series has revealed the calendar for its second season in 2024.

The schedule is not too different to that of the inaugural season, with Spa-Francorchamps holding the opening round on April 19/20.

MotorLand Aragon has moved from being the second round to the sixth, and inheriting its earlier slot in the calendar is the Red Bull Ring. The Austrian track will be new to the series, and the inclusion of a visit there on May 17-19 means Monza has been lost from the calendar after featuring this year. Therefore no rounds will take place in Italy.

Algarve replaces Estoril as the Portuguese track on the schedule, and it appears as round three on June 7-9. A month later the series heads to Paul Ricard in France, with the track being visited in place of Valencia’s Ricardo Tormo circuit, then a week later on July 13/14 is the last ‘international’ round at Zandvoort in the Netherlands.

The last three rounds are all in Spain, the home of the series’ promoter, with Aragon’s round on July 26-28 being followed by races at Jerez (September 27-29) and Barcelona (November 8-10).

Spain’s Formula 4 championship, which has the same promoter, is expected to support at least half of the rounds.

Although it is yet to be confirmed, Eurocup-3 is expected to retain its weekend structure of two practice sessions, two qualifying sessions and two races at each round. Six teams competed in the inaugural season, with the series’ biggest grid size of 19 cars reached at the Barcelona season finale earlier this month.
