Enzo Deligny has swapped teams ahead of his debut FIA Formula 3 season, joining Van Amersfoort Racing after previously being announced to drive for Prema.

The change comes amid upheaval at Prema following the departure of the founding Rosin family and other senior figures, and the widely reported financial situation surrounding parent company DC Racing Solutions.

Deligny had been one of three drivers announced for Prema’s 2026 F3 line-up, along with James Wharton and Louis Sharp, and completed post-season testing with the team but has now finalised a switch to VAR – which had also already named its three drivers for the upcoming season.

In announcing Deligny, the Dutch outfit said it had mutually agreed to part ways with Jesse Carrasquedo “for personal reasons”. Deligny should therefore line up alongside Hiyu Yamakoshi and Bruno del Pino.

“I am really happy to be joining Van Amersfoort Racing for the 2026 season,” said French-Chinese driver Deligny, who finished third in the Formula Regional European Championship last year after two seasons in the category with R-ace GP.

“Formula 3 is the next step I’ve been working towards and I’m excited to take it with VAR. I’m looking forward to working closely with the team and pushing to be competitive together throughout the year.”

VAR team principal Brad Joyce added: “We’ve been watching Enzo closely over the past few years and he’s delivered some very strong results, particularly in FRegional last season. He’s shown speed, consistency and the ability to perform at the front. We believe he has a lot of potential and we’re looking forward to working with him this year.”
