Elite Motorsport’s Fred Green set the pace as GB4’s official pre-season testing got underway with two days at Snetterton.

Green lapped 0.2 seconds faster than KMR Sport’s Alex O’Grady in second place, with only five other drivers in the 28-car field getting within a second of his pace.

Fortec Motosports’ Thomas Ingram Hill set a 1m49.565s lap to top Tuesday’s opening session by 0.294s from Enzo Hallman, who was testing for Hillspeed but has yet to confirm his place on the 2026 grid.

Green led session two by 0.023s from Ingram Hill, whose session one benchmark had not been beaten and would remain that way for himself while the rest of the field found more pace.

Ginetta Junior graduate Green lowered the pace to 1m49.189s in session three. Douglas Motorsport’s Dayton Coulthard was 0.049s behind him, and Green’s team-mate Matan Achituv just 0.041s further adrift.

The best time of the day came in session four, as ADM’s Luke Hilton posted a 1m49.093s to go 0.119s clear of O’Grady, whose own personal best moved him up to third in the overall classification behind Green.

Damp conditions on Wednesday morning resulted in laptimes being around 12s slower in session five, which was topped by Ingram Hill ahead of O’Grady and Coulthard. Hilton was fastest again in session six, 0.9s off his day one benchmark, with Green and Fortec’s Franciszek Cegielski completing the top three.

Green beat the previous best lap of the test by 0.8s in session seven with a 1m48.380s that would not be bettered. He was fastest once more in the final session with a slightly slower 1m49.823s. O’Grady and Hallman also set their best laps in session seven to be second and third overall, the latter pipping Hilton by 0.025s.

Douglas driver Connor Grant set his best time in session eight to be 13th overall, as did KMR’s Holly Miall and Arden’s Charley Myers, who ended up 21st and 22nd respectively. Josh McLean (Pace Performance) and Solenn Amrouche (Arden) were 15th and 23rd after recording their personal bests in session six.
