Alessandro de Tullio has announced he has signed with BN Racing to spend the rest of this year racing in USF Pro 2000.
The 18-year-old American will be making a return to single-seater racing, having previously competed two rungs further down the Road to Indy in 2022.
That year he drove for Velocity Racing Development in USF Juniors, which was using Formula 4 cars in its inaugural season, and came fourth in the standings with five wins, three of which came in a cleap sweep of the round at Virginia International Raceway, as well as four other podiums and five fastest laps.
“Extremely happy to announce that I will be racing in the remainder of the 2024 USFP2000 series with BN Racing. I want to thank my partners Inter MS, Summa Sports, and DTI Group for supporting me on this new journey,” said de Tullio.
“Also I would like to thank [BN Racing owner] Bryn Nuttall for trusting in me. Looking forward to getting started this week at Mid-Ohio.”
De Tullio is best known for his success in America’s karting and Esports scenes. He was a winner in the Road to Indy eSeries and went up against many of his karting rivals in United States F4’s Esports championship.
After his USF Juniors campaign, de Tullio returned to karting and came sixth in the USA SuperNationals for X30 Senior karts at the end of 2022 then won the USA Winter Series title for KA100 Senior karts at the start of 2024.
