International Motorsport has completed its USF Juniors line-up for 2025, while DEForce Racing has poached a driver from a rival team.
Joining the former’s three-car squad are Michael Suco and Emma Scarbrough. The 19-year-old Suco has contested the YACademy Winter Series, which uses USF Juniors’ car, for the past two years and he took a podium this season racing for International Motorsport.
He also raced in USF Juniors itself in 2024 for Velocity Racing Development and came 21st in the standings with a single top-10 finish.
Scarborough, 16, made her single-seater racing debut in the 2025 YACademy season after graduating from karting. She did Formula 4 testing with Campos Racing in 2024 alongside her karting to prepare for her next career step.
Originally due to race for Jay Howard Driver Development this season, Finnish talent Vilho Aatola has exited his contract with that team to join DEForce instead in USF Juniors.
The 15-year-old was 2024 Rotax Max Challenge Central European championship runner-up for Rotax Senior karts, and the Indy Junior Academy Finland-USA programme was involved in getting him into single-seaters. His first race outings were two months ago in YACademy, and took place with JHDD, with a fifth place being his best result.
“I’m really excited to start my rookie season in USF Juniors with DEForce Racing,” Aatola said of his team switch.
“Expectations are high both in terms of competition and my personal development. Working with the team has been professional and enjoyable. I’ve felt welcome from the very beginning!”
