On Saturday, two Team West-Tec cars were able to qualify themselves into the top three. This time, they could make it even better, as the top three contained only their cars.
After winning the first qualifying, and race one, Nelson Mason continued his stunning season start with a dominant qualifying victory. His closest rival was Spencer Pigot, who was also beaten by a whopping seven tenths.
Despite getting the third place, Roberto La Rocca was more than one second slower than Mason. The West-Tec’s were followed by two RP’s, Santiago Urrutia, Sandy Stuvik and Vicky Piria.
The best Copa driver was karting graduate Lorenzo Paggi as he finished seventh. The top 10 was completed by Alex Toril, Nicholas Pohler and Yarin Stern.
